Reverse description Central device consists of the crowned Dutch royal coat of arms — a shield bearing the Nassau lion rampant to the left, holding a sword and bundle of arrows — surmounted by an elaborate royal crown with cross finial. The denomination 1/2 G. is flanked to the left and right of the shield in the field. The circular legend MUNT VAN HET KONINGRYK DER NEDERLANDEN, separated by the date and ornamental stops, runs around the periphery. The mint mark and assayer's initial appear at the base of the shield. A fine beaded border frames the entire reverse.
Reverse script Latin
