Obverse description Crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of Oldenburg, comprising alternating fields of billets and horizontal lines on the dexter side, and a cross patée on the sinister side. The shield is flanked on either side by a laurel and palm branch garland, and surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial. No legend appears in the field.
