| Beschrijving keerzijde | The rampant Bohemian lion, crowned and with a double tail, is depicted in the central field within a beaded inner circle, facing left with forelegs raised. The lion's double tail is prominently rendered in the Gothic heraldic tradition. A circular Latin legend in uncial script occupies the margin between the beaded inner circle and the toothed outer rim, proclaiming the king's royal title by divine grace. The hammered flan shows slight irregularity typical of medieval striking techniques. The reverse design closely parallels contemporary English sterling penny types, consistent with the designation of this issue as an 'English type'. |
