| 正面描述 | Vertically divided shield bearing, on the dexter half, two opposed and conjoined lilies, and on the sinister half, three horizontal bars. Peter III of Moldavia ruled during a period of intense Ottoman pressure on the principality's southern borders, and his coinages reflect the administrative fragility of a state constantly negotiating its autonomy. The Type II designation distinguishes a revised die execution from his earlier emission, though both share the same fractional denomination — small change for a frontier economy running on tribute obligations and livestock trade rather than large commercial exchanges.
At half a groschen, these were workhorse coins, and survivors in any condition above heavily worn are genuinely scarce.
