The dolphin, heraldic emblem of the Dauphiné, is rendered in the characteristic medieval style of hammered coinage, with stylized fins and body. The legend reads H·V·DALPh'S·VIENS, identifying Humbert II as Dauphin of Viennois. The flan is irregular, typical of hand-struck medieval silver coinage of this period. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | A bold double cross, characteristic of the groat tradition, extends to the periphery of the flan, dividing the reverse into four quarters and intersecting the surrounding circular legend. Four small rings or annulets are placed at the interior angles formed by the arms of the cross. The encircling legend in uncial Latin reads COMES ALBONS, referencing Humbert II's comital title. The overall design follows the standard typology of mid-14th century feudal silver coinage of the Dauphiné. |
