The face is shown frontally with minimal stylization typical of early 14th-century Silesian coinage. A beaded inner border surrounds the central device, with a fragmentary Latin legend distributed around the periphery of the flan. |

The eagle is rendered in the characteristic flat, angular style of hammered Silesian half-groschen of the period. A partial Latin legend runs around the circumference of the flan, identifying the issuing dukes, though frequently incomplete due to the irregular striking of the flan. |
