The Duchy of Jawor was one of the fragmented Piast principalities of Silesia, and this joint coinage reflects the unusual co-rulership arrangement among Henry I of Jawor and his nephews Bolko II and Henry II following territorial partitions that made coherent governance — and coherent monetary policy — genuinely difficult. Joint issues of this kind were not administrative tidiness; they were political statements about shared dynastic legitimacy in a region where Bohemian suzerainty was tightening its grip throughout the 1330s.
Kopicki 5784 is not a common reference number to encounter in trade, and surviving examples are infrequently offered outside Polish and Czech specialist auctions.
