Obverse description Central field occupied by a heraldic shield bearing two weapons side by side: on the left, a sword or dagger with a diamond-shaped pommel pointing downward, and on the right, a Latin cross with a globular top. To the left of the shield, in the outer field, a crescent moon with its opening facing right. No legend is present on this face. The design is rendered in a bold, simplified hammered style characteristic of medieval Moldavian minor coinage.

Reverse description Central device depicting the heraldic auroch's head en face, the traditional arms of the Principality of Moldavia, with prominent upward-curving horns. Between the horns, a crescent surmounted by a six-pointed star. To either side of the head, a lozenge-shaped rosette. In the lower field to the left, a five-pellet rosette, and to the right, a crescent with its opening facing left. The composition is set without a surrounding legend, rendered in a bold hammered technique typical of mid-fifteenth century Moldavian coinage under Bogdan II.
