| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded inner circle, the royal arms of France semé-de-lis are depicted as three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a triangular formation, surmounted by a large crowned royal diadem rendered in fine detail. The crown issues directly above the three lilies, serving as the primary heraldic emblem of the French monarchy. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded border, beyond which runs the circumferential legend in Gothic uncial lettering. The field is flat and typical of the hammered coinage of the Valois period. |
