| Reverse description | Mounted knight (Pahonia), the traditional arms of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, depicted charging to the left on horseback, with sword raised aloft in the right hand and a shield on the left arm. The date 1566 appears in the exergue or lower field. A horseshoe mintmark divides the surrounding Latin legend, which identifies the issuing authority. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, consistent with the hammered technique of the Tykocin mint. |
