| Reverse description | A long cross pattée extends to the edge of the coin, dividing the reverse into four quarters and intersecting the circular legend. In the angles formed by the cross, alternating fleurs-de-lis and annulets are placed, referencing the Burgundian dynastic iconography. At the center of the cross, a small lozenge (diamond) contains the letter A, serving as a mint or workshop mark. The surrounding circumscription, rendered in Gothic uncial lettering, reads: BEnED*AnIMA*MEA*DOMInO, a devotional phrase meaning 'Bless the Lord, O my soul' (Psalm 103). |
