| Reverse description | A long cross pattee extends to the edge of the coin, dividing the reverse field into four quarters and bisecting the surrounding legend. In the angles of the cross appear alternating charges: a lily and an annelet in the upper quarters, and a lion and an annelet in the lower quarters. At the center of the cross, a mint mark is enclosed within a lozenge or diamond-shaped frame. The border legend in uncial Latin letters carries a devotional inscription invoking the name of the Lord, a common formula on late medieval Low Countries silver coinage. |
