Obverse description Draped bust of Philip III facing left, set within an inner beaded circle. The royal effigy is rendered in a compact, slightly crude hammered style typical of Barcelona mint coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend runs between the inner and outer beaded borders, identifying the monarch as King of the Spains by the grace of God.
