Reverse description A plain long cross divides the reverse field into four equal quadrants, each containing the arms of Aragon-Barcelona rendered as pellets and annulets in the Gothic heraldic tradition. Each quadrant features a beaded inner arc framing the charge elements. The circumferential legend CIUITAS BARCKNONA, denoting the city of Barcelona, runs around the periphery separated by the arms of the cross. The design is consistent with the standard coinage type of the Barcelona mint under Martin I.
