| 背面描述 | A floriated triple cross occupies the full field, its arms terminating in ornate trefoil finials and dividing the space into four quarters. In each quarter angle appears one letter of the mint name, reading L - O - V - A (for Lovanium, i.e. Leuven), struck in bold Gothic uncial characters. The cross is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend running in the outer field. The design is executed in the characteristic Brabantine groat style of the early 14th century, with strong relief on the cross arms typical of hammered silver coinage of the period. |
