Reverse description Central field bears a large cross pattee within a double beaded inner circle, a design derived from the contemporary French gros tournois and adapted for episcopal Liege coinage. The cross divides the inner legend into four segments. An intermediate circular border containing the mint legend separates the inner cross design from the outer legend, which reads around the full circumference of the coin.
