Obverse description Central field features a heraldic eagle displayed within a lobed or cusped inner circle, rendered in the Gothic style typical of late 13th-century episcopal coinage. The eagle's wings are spread and the plumage is delineated with linear hatching. The design is enclosed within a beaded or plain inner border, with the Latin episcopal legend running continuously around the outer margin of the coin.
