| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing crowned effigy of Henry VI at centre, depicted with flowing hair falling to either side of the neck, set within a plain inner circle. The crown is of the open type with fleurs-de-lis and trefoil ornaments. The portrait is rendered in the flat, stylised Gothic manner characteristic of Lancastrian hammered coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the effigy, with the Latin royal legend disposed around the outer field between two concentric beaded borders. |
