| Beschrijving keerzijde | A short cross pattée occupies the central field, its splayed terminals extending nearly to a beaded inner circle. A small cross pattée appears at the centre of the cross. Two concentric Latin legends in Gothic lettering surround the cross, separated by a beaded border: the inner legend invokes a religious benediction, while the outer legend records the mint authority and place of striking. The design follows the standard gros coinage format of the Low Countries in the early fifteenth century. |
