Obverse description Mature draped and armoured bust of King Charles II of Spain facing right, wearing a long flowing wig, plate armour over which is draped a mantle, and the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended at the chest. A fleur-de-lis ornament appears in the lower field beneath the truncation. The legend encircles the effigy, rendered in incuse Latin capitals.
