正面铭文 راجي رضوان مهيمني فيروز شاه بهمني
背面描述 Reverse bears a concise Arabic legend arranged in two lines across the field, proclaiming the royal title of the sultan. The inscription is struck in a bold but somewhat worn Naskh script, consistent with the informal calligraphic style characteristic of Bahmani Sultanate copper coinage of the early fifteenth century. The flan is irregular in shape with uneven edges, and the surface shows significant wear and encrustation typical of circulated hammered copper. No mint name or date is indicated on this face.

附加信息

Taj ud-Din Firuz Shah ruled the Bahmani Sultanate for over two decades, making his reign one of the longest and most culturally productive in the dynasty's history. He maintained correspondence with the Timurid court at Samarkand and was known for his multilingualism and patronage of Persian scholarship — an unusual profile for a ruler whose copper fractionals were circulating in the Deccan markets.

The Bahmani monetary system divided the gani into smaller copper units for local trade, with the half-gani filling the gap between the larger silver issues and daily commerce in the interior.
