| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script reading 'Al-mu'ayyad bi-nasr allah al-ghani' (the one aided by the victory of God, the Rich), struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered Bahmani copper coinage. The lettering is deeply engraved and fills the field, with no border ornament. The script is arranged in two or three horizontal registers across the coin's face. |
