Reverse description A sacred white elephant depicted in profile within the center of a multi-ringed Chakra (wheel), the dynastic symbol of the Chakri ruling house. The concentric decorative bands surrounding the elephant feature intricate foliate or rope-like patterning, filling the field to the coin's milled border. The overall composition reflects traditional Thai royal iconography as employed on Siamese gold coinage of the Rama IV period.
