Reverse description A Prussian eagle displayed with spread wings, surmounted by a royal crown, perched atop a trophy of arms comprising military attributes including drums, a kettle drum, a cannon, standards, and laurel branches arranged symmetrically in the field. The date and mint mark are divided across the lower exergue area, reading 17 C 53, where C denotes the Kleve mint. The overall composition reflects the baroque martial iconography characteristic of Frederician gold coinage.
