Reverse description A crowned Prussian eagle with wings spread, facing right, perched atop a trophy of military arms and accoutrements including drums, a cannon, standards with tasselled cords, and draped flags, all arranged in a martial composition symbolising Prussian military prowess. The date is split across the upper field, with '17' to the left and '84' to the right of the eagle. Below the trophy, the Berlin mint mark 'A' appears in the lower centre, flanked on each side by a small rosette ornament. A beaded border encircles the entire design.
