| Obverse description | Bare head of Charles X facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed wavy hair. The engraver's signature MICHAUT appears incuse along the truncation of the neck. The circular legend reads CHARLES X ROI DE FRANCE, distributed around the periphery of the field. The portrait is executed in a neoclassical style with strong, naturalistic facial modeling. The design is contained within a beaded border. |
