| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the ornate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Selim III, finely engraved in high relief with characteristic scroll and pennant elements. The tughra is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by an outer border of flowing Arabic calligraphic legend. The coin's rim is defined by a fine beaded border. The overall composition reflects the refined Ottoman minting style of the late 18th century. |
