| Reverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in the field, struck in the bold Naskh-influenced style typical of Gujarati sultanate copper coinage. The inscription occupies the entire field and reads in part 'ibn Muzaffar Shah al-Sultan', identifying the issuing ruler as the son of Muzaffar Shah. The lettering is deeply impressed with characteristic wedge-shaped strokes, and the flan shows the typical irregularities of hand-struck medieval Indian coinage. |
