Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing the Arabic honorific legend in two or three lines, reading ناصر الدنيا و الدين (‘Nasir al-Dunya wa al-Din’, meaning ‘Defender of the World and the Faith’). The inscription is rendered in a compact, somewhat angular script characteristic of Gujarat Sultanate copper coinage. The surfaces show pronounced irregularity and patination consistent with hammered fabric, with no decorative border or ornamental devices visible.
