Reverse description Reverse of this hammered copper half falus displays Arabic legends across the square flan in multiple lines, typical of Malwa Sultanate fractional coinage of the period. The inscription occupies the majority of the field, with the text arranged in a manner consistent with the conventions of the local mint. Surface wear and heavy copper corrosion affect legibility, but the bold angular script and general layout conform to the known type as catalogued under Mitch WI#188. The irregular flan edges reflect the hand-cut nature of the planchet preparation.
