| Reverse description | Hammered copper reverse of irregular round form bearing a two-line Arabic legend in the field, divided by a horizontal rule. The inscription references the sovereign authority of Mahmud Shah I and is rendered in a bold Naskh hand consistent with Malwa Sultanate provincial copper issues. The flan exhibits an uneven surface with areas of green cuprite patination and characteristic strike weakness at the margins, typical of hand-struck half-falus denominations of this reign. |
