| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain field displaying a three-line Arabic Kufic inscription centered on the flan, completing the Islamic profession of faith. The legend identifies Muhammad as the messenger of God, forming the second half of the shahada. The lettering is rendered in an early Kufic style typical of anonymous Umayyad copper coinage produced during the caliphate of Abd al-Malik. The flan is irregularly struck and shows characteristic surface patination of ancient copper. No mint name, date, or additional decorative motifs are present. |
