Obverse description Central crowned shield of Aragon bearing vertical pales, surmounted by an elaborate crown with fleurons and orbs, all within a beaded inner circle. Flanking the shield to the left are the mintmark and denomination numerals, while additional control marks appear to the right and below the escutcheon. The design is characteristic of the hammered cob coinage (macuquina) struck under Carlos II for the Kingdom of Majorca, with the date divided by the crowned arms.
