| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and armored bust of King Frederick I, depicted wearing pearled plate armor, with flowing curly hair visible behind the neck. The royal effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque portrait style characteristic of Swedish gold coinage of the period. A beaded inner circle frames the bust, which bisects the circumferential Latin legend. The portrait treatment reflects the refined engraving standards of the Stockholm Mint during Frederick I's reign. |
