Reverse description A crowned heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Seven United Provinces occupies the center of the field, flanked on each side by a standing lion rampant serving as supporter. The date of issue appears below the shield, enclosed within a decorative cartouche. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery of the coin, completing the emblematic composition characteristic of Dutch provincial coinage of the period.
