| Obverse description | A fully armored knight on horseback occupies the central field, depicted in right-facing profile at full gallop with sword raised aloft in the right hand, emblematic of the provincial cavalry type known as the 'Zilveren Rijder.' A crowned shield bearing the West Friesland lion is positioned in the lower portion of the field beneath the horse. The encircling Latin legend is separated by pellet stops and reads continuously around the coin's inner border within a beaded rim. |

| Reverse description | The central device consists of the crowned provincial arms of West Friesland — a shield bearing a rampant lion — supported on either side by rampant lion supporters, with foliate mantling beneath. The shield is surmounted by a large arched crown rendered in high relief. The date 1674 appears prominently at the top of the field within the legend. The encircling Latin motto is divided by pellet stops and runs continuously around the coin within a beaded border. |
