| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bird, identified in the Gonzaga numismatic tradition as an eagle or similar heraldic raptor, depicted standing upon an altar or decorative pedestal in the central field. The figure is shown in profile, rendered with broad, schematic strokes typical of hammered gold coinage of the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. An inner beaded border encircles the central device, while the surrounding legend VIRGO DEI GENITRIX — meaning 'Virgin, Mother of God' — runs along the outer rim, consistent with the Marian devotional iconography prevalent in Gonzaga court coinage.
