Reverse description Central crowned shield of arms of Charles VI as King of Naples and Spain, displaying the complex quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg-Spanish monarchy including the castles and lions of Castile and León, the bars of Aragon, and the eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, set within an ornate Baroque cartouche with foliate and scroll mantling. The royal crown surmounts the shield, and the mint master's initials appear within the composition. The circular Latin legend reads HISP. VTRI. - SICI. REX., referring to his titles as King of the Spains, both Sicilies, distributed on either side of the arms. A toothed border frames the design.
