Two pellets appear symmetrically above the inscription. The lettering is separated by stops and rendered in a robust, slightly irregular hand consistent with the hammered technique of the period. The inscription serves as a historical record of Brandenburg-Prussia's military triumph over Swedish-held Stettin during the Scanian War. |
