The shield is quartered and displays the heraldic charges of both the see of Salzburg and the Harrach family. The denomination mark '1/2' appears on a small escutcheon at the base of the composition. The circular Latin legend surrounding the arms reads FRANC ANTO D G ARCHI PR SAL S A L, identifying the issuer as Archbishop Franz Anton by the grace of God.
