背面描述	Central field bears the crowned shield of Aragon, displaying four vertical pales on a plain field, surmounted by an ornate royal crown with foliate finials, all within a beaded inner circle. The shield is rendered in the Gothic heraldic style typical of the Crown of Aragon coinage of the late fifteenth century. The peripheral Latin legend VALENCIE MAIORICAR encircles the design along the outer margin, referring to the territories of Valencia and Majorca under Ferdinand II's rule. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular outline and flat relief of hammered gold coinage.
