| 正面描述 | Within a beaded square klippe flan set on its corner, a large crowned Gothic letter 'F' occupies the central field, with the Roman numeral 'II' positioned beneath. A royal crown surmounts the monogram at the top, flanked by crossed palm and laurel branches radiating behind the crown. Decorative scrollwork and small ornamental devices appear in the lower flanking fields. The overall composition is framed by a milled border following the square outline of the flan. |

Frankfurt struck klippe coinage specifically for the coronation of Holy Roman Emperor Matthias's successor, Ferdinand II, in August 1619 — a ceremony held at the Kaiserdom while Bohemia was already in open revolt, a rebellion that would ignite the Thirty Years' War within months. These square-format pieces were distributed as Schaugepräge, presentation strikes thrown into crowds or gifted to dignitaries, which is why survivors tend toward better preservation than ordinary circulation gold.
JuF#355a distinguishes this from the round ducat issue of the same event struck concurrently by the Frankfurt mint.
