(Translation: Honoré II by the grace of God prince of Monaco.)
Reverse description Central cruciform device composed of four crowned gothic H monograms arranged symmetrically around a central ornament, with fleurs-de-lis filling each of the four angles between the arms of the cross. A royal crown surmounts the central cross element. The entire device is enclosed within a circular Latin legend giving the date 1650, with the inscription divided across the upper and lower periphery of the field.
