Obverse description The Fijian coat of arms is depicted at centre, flanked by the weight and fineness designations. The legend 'FIJI 2025' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'HALF DOLLAR' appears along the lower border. The national motto 'Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui' (Fear God and honour the King/Queen) is inscribed within the design, with the fineness notation '1/4 oz .999 FINE SILVER' also present in the field.

Reverse description A highly detailed, full-colour depiction of a coiled snake fills the majority of the coin's field, its vivid red and orange scales rendered with striking naturalistic precision. The serpent's body is shown looped upon itself, with fine scale texture highlighted in contrasting teal and dark tones, evoking the dynamism of the Chinese Lunar Year of the Snake. A Greek key (meander) border frames the inner field along the coin's rim, referencing traditional East Asian decorative motifs. The date '2025' is inscribed in the lower exergue within the border pattern.
