| Descrizione del rovescio | The central field features a detailed gold-plated depiction of an ancient Egyptian mortuary temple — closely resembling the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari — rendered in high relief against a darkened background. Above the temple, a centrally placed gold-plated scarab beetle is flanked symmetrically by four ankh symbols in oxidised dark relief. Below the temple, four additional ankh symbols flank a gold-plated royal cartouche bearing hieroglyphic inscription in the lower field. The legend VALLEY OF THE KINGS arcs across the upper portion of the field in gold lettering, and the border features an ornate stepped and beaded inner ring. |
