| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and facial features. The portrait is centrally positioned within the annular sector-shaped field, flanked to the left and right by the denomination inscription HALF DOLLAR. The legend SOLOMON ISLANDS curves along the upper border, while the date 2020 appears along the lower border, all framed by a decorative Greek key meander pattern.
