Opis awersu	Host coin is a Peruvian 4 Reales piece, countermarked and centrally holed as part of the Haitian monetary adaptation. The obverse displays a crowned royal coat of arms of Spain set within an ornate shield, encircled by the Latin legend denoting the Spanish king as ruler of the Indies. The Haitian countermark consists of a central circular hole pierced through the field, altering the host coin for local circulation. The design is characteristic of the milled coinage produced at the Lima Mint under Spanish colonial authority.
