| Beschrijving keerzijde | Large cross of the Order of Christ (Chritus Military Order) occupying the central field, its distinctive splayed form boldly struck in high relief. In each of the four quadrants formed by the arms of the cross appears the mint mark letter M, denoting the Vila Rica (MMMM) mint. The date is positioned at the top of the field above the cross. The circumferential Latin motto legend is punctuated by rosette stops and runs continuously around the coin, with fine dentilation framing the design at the rim. |
