Reverse description Central field features the 'Lion and Sun' device as the primary motif, with a lion rampant to the right depicted in a robust, stylized manner typical of late 13th- to early 14th-century Golden Horde coinage. A rayed solar disc surmounts the lion's haunches, its rays rendered as pointed projections emanating from a central boss. The design is enclosed within a well-defined beaded border. Vegetal or foliate ornamental elements appear in the lower field, adding decorative articulation to the composition. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-struck hammered production at the Saray mint.
