Obverse description Central field dominated by a six-pointed star (Star of David) formed by two interlocking triangles, with Arabic inscriptions arranged within and around the points of the star. The ruler's name and titles — al-Malik al-Zahir Ghazi Ibn Yusuf Bin Ayyub — are distributed across the field in bold Naskh script. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of Ayyubid hammered silver issues, with the design partially off-center. The geometric star motif served as a structuring device for the inscription layout, a hallmark of this Aleppan series.
